Our Story

For the past 35 years, we’ve been a trusted safe haven for women and families in our community who are searching for help and hope. We’ve done this first and foremost by sharing the love of Christ with everyone who comes through our doors, and by being His hands and feet through the services and resources we offer.

Our Mission

The Christ-centered mission of Alternatives.Yes is to compassionately help those facing pregnancy and provide life-affirming services that protect and enhance the lives of women, children, and families through pregnancy and beyond.

Our Vision

Our Christian ministry seeks to celebrate the sanctity of human life, empower women, and love families by being the leader in pregnancy and parenting support in our community. We aim to expand this life-affirming work by transitioning to include medical services. We believe that the more women and families have access to free medical services, like lab-quality pregnancy testing and ultrasounds, the more women will choose life for their babies.

Statement of Faith

We believe in one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 8:6; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14). We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and through Jesus Christ, the love, mercy, and grace of God is made known to us and all people. From this overflowing abundance of God’s love, we find our call to ministry. We proclaim that Jesus lived, died, and rose again and that Jesus is Lord (1 Thess. 4:14; Phil. 2:9-11; John 3:16). We desire Him to be central in our individual and corporate lives. We believe in and seek to live out the two greatest commandments given to us by Jesus: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind, and Love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:34-40).                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

We believe that God is the author and creator of all life (Col.1:16) and that we are created in His image and likeness (Gen. 1:26-27). As such, we believe and affirm that human life is sacred and has inherent value, worth, and dignity since it is created by God. On the basis of this inherent value, we seek to defend, protect, and care for life in all stages of God’s creation, including the unborn. We believe and affirm that life begins at conception, at which time the full genetic blueprint for life is in place, and as such, we work to honor and protect life. We affirm the dignity and humanity of all women and families who come to us, and we recognize their vulnerability (Psalm 119:73; Psalm 139:13; Psalm 82:3; Isaiah 44:2 & 24; Jeremiah 1:5).  Finally, we do not provide or encourage abortifacient contraceptive medications or sterilization services. Rather, we seek to educate women on fertility awareness and reproductive health so as to avoid harming the unborn and to promote chastity and fidelity within marriage to foster sexual integrity and healthy relationships (1 Thess. 4:3-4).
