Volunteer Your Time

As a small but mighty team, we depend on volunteers like you to carry out our life-affirming mission. If you have a heart to serve vulnerable women and families, we have a place for you! No experience is necessary. We provide training. We are currently looking for volunteers to fill the following roles:

• Friday pantry and hospitality assistant—Connellsville
• Thursday Client Services Assistant—Uniontown
• Marketing/Social Media content creator
• Licensed social worker or trauma counselor
• General Cleaning
• Language Interpreter
• Banquet Table Hosts for our September Gala
• Fundraising Events Coordinator-Organize fundraisers or events for your group
• Mission Advancement Assistant-Strong computer skills and organizational skills needed to help manage donor files and assist Lacey with community outreach
• Community Ambassador–Hang up flyers in the community, distribute brochures, share social media posts and help man the Alternatives.Yes table at community events
• Prayer Warriors—for both clients and staff.  We need it, even on the best days!

Donate Clothing and Baby Items

Our Mother’s Pantry is stocked only through kind donations. We accept most new and gently used baby items and furnishings, including:

• Any baby clothing items sizes preemie to 2T
• Any maternity clothing
• Infant blankets, socks, bibs, and hats
• Crib Sheets
• Diapers and Wipes
• Mom or Infant Hygiene Items
• Bottles and Sippy Cups
• Bassinettes
• Strollers
• High Chairs
• Bouncy Seats & Rockers
• Infant Activity Mats
• Infant/Toddler Development Toys
• Infant/Toddler Books
• Safety Gates & Safety Items
• Crib Mattresses
• Cribs (New Only)
• Car Seats (New Only)

*All seating devise (i.e. strollers or chairs) must have all original straps and safety devices.  Highchairs must have been manufactured in the last 3 years.
